Lazar Lyutakov *1977, born in Shabla (BG) lives and works in Vienna. Lazar studied at the high school for fine arts in Plovdiv, the Sofia national art academy and graduated at the academy of fine arts in Vienna. He has held solo exhibitions at the Galerie Georg Kargl’s project space “Permanent”, Hans Reh Kunstverein and Gallery Winiarzyk in Vienna, Werkbank Lana in Italy, Ryllega Gallery in Hanoi, as well as at the Fruits, Flowers and Clouds art fair at MAK in 2011.

 

His works were included in the 1st Vienna Biennale, 1st Triennale Linz, Gallery 400 in Chicago, GGM2 Gdansk, the Blackbridge Offspace in Beijing, Fotohof Salzburg, the Center for Contemporary Art - Plovdiv, Kunsthaus Muerz and others. He also participated in a special project as a part of the 6th Moscow Biennale for contemporary art in 2015.

Lazar Lyutakov is a co-founder of the Baba Vasa’s Cellar in Shabla, Bulgaria.
